"Barbaric": Global Leaders Unite in Condemnation of J&K Terror Attack

In a rare show of global solidarity, leaders from France, Italy, China, and beyond have denounced the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) as "barbaric" and "cowardly," calling for justice and strengthened counterterrorism efforts.  

The assault, which targeted innocent civilians in the region, has drawn sharp criticism from the international community. French President Emmanuel Macron labeled the attack "an affront to humanity," while Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni urged "swift action against perpetrators."  

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin expressed Beijing’s "firm opposition to all forms of terrorism," marking a notable stance amid geopolitical tensions. The United Nations also issued a statement, emphasizing the need for "collective action to combat extremism."  

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed that "those behind this heinous act will not go unpunished," as security forces intensify operations in the region.  

Analysts suggest the widespread condemnation underscores growing global concerns over terrorism’s resurgence. Meanwhile, locals in J&K mourn the lives lost, hoping for peace amid escalating tensions.
