WAVES Summit 2025 to Propel Global Entertainment Economy, Announces Maharashtra CM Fadnavis

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today hailed the upcoming WAVES Summit 2025 as a transformative platform that will accelerate the growth of the entertainment economy worldwide. Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Fadnavis emphasized that the summit will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to shape the future of media, arts, and technology.  

“The WAVES Summit 2025 is not just an event; it’s a global movement,” said Fadnavis. “With the convergence of cinema, gaming, streaming, and immersive technologies, this summit will serve as a catalyst for economic expansion, job creation, and cross-border collaborations in the entertainment sector.”  

Scheduled to be held in December 2025, the summit will feature high-profile panel discussions, startup showcases, and networking opportunities with key stakeholders from Hollywood, Bollywood, and other major entertainment hubs. Experts predict that the event will also spotlight Maharashtra’s emergence as a creative and technological powerhouse.  

Organizers revealed that the summit will focus on AI-driven content creation, virtual production, and sustainable practices in entertainment. “We’re at a pivotal moment where technology and creativity intersect,” said festival director Riya Mehta. “WAVES 2025 will inspire the next wave of storytelling and economic opportunities.”  

With early registrations pouring in from over 50 countries, the WAVES Summit is poised to become a landmark event in the global entertainment calendar.
