Veteran Actor Mukul Dev Passes Away; Manoj Bajpayee Mourns the Loss of a "Genuine Soul"

The Indian entertainment industry is in mourning following the sudden demise of veteran actor Mukul Dev. Known for his versatile roles in films like LOC: Kargil, Khakee, and Aitraaz, Dev’s passing has left colleagues and fans heartbroken.  

Renowned actor Manoj Bajpayee, who shared screen space with Dev in multiple projects, expressed deep sorrow over the loss. “It feels unimaginable… Mukul was not just a brilliant actor but also a kind and genuine soul. Working with him was always a pleasure—his dedication and warmth were unmatched. The industry has lost a gem,” Bajpayee said in an emotional statement.  

Mukul Dev, who began his career in the late '90s, was celebrated for his ability to seamlessly transition between intense and comedic roles. Beyond acting, he was also a talented voice artist and contributed to several animated series and dubbed films.  

Fellow actors and filmmakers took to social media to pay tribute, recalling his professionalism and infectious energy on set. While the cause of his death has not been officially disclosed, sources close to the family confirm that he had been battling health issues privately.  

Dev is survived by his family, who have requested privacy during this difficult time. His legacy, however, will live on through his memorable performances and the countless lives he touched in the industry.
